Vera Bea Spielman

Vera “Bea” Morris Spielman, of Topeka, KS entered into eternal peace on March 22, 2025.

Vera Bea was born on March 25, 1928 daughter of Wesley Herman and Nina Belle (Hall) Morris of rural Arapaho, OK. She married Donald Leroy Spielman on February 20, 1955 in Clinton, OK. To this union 4 daughters were born in Topeka, KS. Lynda (Brent) Henry, Lisa (Doug) Long, Lora (Khosrow) Ghaderi and Leta (Tommy) Dehner. Seven grandchildren, Alyson (Matt) Rochelle, Chelsea Swaggerty, Emily Ghaderi, Sophia Ghaderi, Lucas Dehner, Jacob (Dani) Dehner and Joseph Dehner. 4 great grandchildren.

Vera Bea received secretarial-education at Southwest Teachers College and worked for 2 attorneys at Clinton, OK for 7 years. She moved to Topeka, KS and worked at Federal Home Loan Bank in various departments for 21 years including for 3 presidents and one interim President at FHLB.

She was past president of Arapaho 4H club and ESA in Clinton, OK and attended Town and Country Christian Church for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Donald Spielman, her parents, brother Harold Dean and sister Arlee Jo Crowl.

Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Dove Cremations & Funerals Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd with a visitation beginning at 10:15 a.m. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery at 6th and Gage in Topeka.
