Vera F. Ward, 82, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022 at a Rossville care facility. She was born August 26, 1939 in Koshkonong, Missouri.
Vera was a homemaker.
Vera married Russell F. Hamilton, Sr. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Russell F. "Rusty" Hamilton, Jr. on March 26, 2021.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Chilson and Rocky Chilson, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private Celebration of Vera's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
