Veryl Wilch

Veryl E. Wilch, 82, Topeka, died, Saturday, October 30, 2004 at Aldersgate Village, Topeka.
Mr. Wilch retired from the Boeing Company as a Program Cost Analyst on February 28,1987.
He was born December 15, 1921 near Richland,Kansas the son of Charles W. and Tressie Leonard Wilch, the fifth of six sons in the family.
He was a World War II veteran, having served in the Army Air Corps in the South Pacific from 1943 to 1946.
He graduated from Berryton High School in 1941 and from the University of Kansas School of Business in 1950. He was employed by the Boeing Company upon graduation from Kansas University.
He was a member of Berryton United Methodist Church and the Photographic Scoiety of America.
He was married to Edna L. Huyett on April 15, 1951 at Berryton, KS. She preceded him in death on June 30, 1998.
He is survived by two brothers; Clarence Wilch of Topeka and Merton Wilch, of Tecumseh, and special companion, Doris DeLong of Tecumseh. He was preceded in death by three brothers; Cletus Wilch in 1993, Kyle Wilch in 1995 and Harold Wilch in 2003.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at the Berryton United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 89th and Ratner Road, Berryton, KS. Memorial contributions may be given to Berryton United Methodist Church, 7010 SE Berryton Road, Berryton, Kansas 66409. Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
