Vicki L. Arnold

Vicki L. Arnold, 67, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022.

She was born December 3, 1954, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Harold Arnold and Wanda (Johnson) Palmer. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1972.

Vicki worked for Sheltered Living, the State of Kansas in the Vocational Rehabilitation Unit teaching life skills to special needs individuals and the Center for the Blind providing life skills to adult individuals with visual impairments. She later retired from the State of Kansas with SRS.

She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. Vicki enjoyed being a companion to close friends and relatives that were coming near to the end of life and would spend hours and days with them. She loved socializing and meeting new people and would often spend hours Facebooking friends. Vicki loved her pets. She will be remembered as a very loyal person to her family and friends. She was a very dedicated daughter to her mother.

Survivors include her partner, Gayla; sister, Lynn (Jay) Fredrickson and brother, Chuck Arnold. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gary Arnold.

Honoring Vicki's wishes, cremation is planned. A Celebration of Her life will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Dove Southeast Funeral Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave, Topeka 66605. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the Celebration. Private inurnment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 13067, Alexandria, VA 22312.
