Vikki Ann Horan, 70, Topeka, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022.
Vikki was born August 23, 1951 in Wellington, the daughter of Roy and Martha (Sharpsteen) Mericle. She graduated from Wellington High School in 1969 and Phillips University in Enid, OK.
She was employed as a librarian with Topeka-Shawnee County Public Library for over 30 years, retiring in 2016.
She enjoyed reading, live music and spending time with family.
Vikki married Michael P. Horan on August 26, 1978 in Kansas City, MO. Her husband of 43 years survives. Other survivors include daughters, Allison (Henri) Ewell, Molly Horan, all of Kansas City, MO; sister, Terrie May; and brother, Steve Mericle. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the Dove Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
