Wallace D. Cripps

Wallace Dwaine "Wally " Cripps, 81, Topeka, passed away Friday, May 25, 2007 at St. Francis Health Center.

He was born Dec. 1, 1925 in Eskridge, Kansas, the son of Lyle and Elgie Peoples Cripps. He attended Eskridge High School.

Wallace worked as a marketing representative for many years, and retired in 1989 from Economy Fire & Casualty, a division of The Kemper Group. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening, and grew beautiful vegetables and flowers.

He married Lois Bohn on Oct. 6, 1951. She survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Bryce Cripps and wife, Judy, Brian Cripps and wife, Debbie and Brent Cripps, all of Topeka; two daughters, Bridget White and husband, Oliver of Lawrence and Brenda Cripps of Topeka; eight grandchildren, Jeremiah, Janelle, Blake, Alyson, Corey, and Erin Cripps, and Miles and Ian White.

Cremation is planned. An inurnment service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at West Lawn Memorial Gardens.
