Wally Sweet, 55, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospice in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born December 13, 1960 in Topeka, the son of Raymond Samuel and Ruby Fern (Wonser) Sweet.
Wally graduated from Highland Park High School and was employed in the construction trade.
Survivors include his parents, Raymond and Ruby Sweet of Topeka, his siblings, Samuel Paul Sweet and Becky (Mark) Renyer of Topeka, two nephews, Keith, Matthew and one niece, Jessica.
Wally was preceded in death by his sister, Eva Mae Sweet in January, 1963.
A celebration of Wally's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Luke's Hospice, 3516 SW Summit St., Kansas City, Missouri 64111.
