Warren G. Deal, 75, Topeka, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019 at a Stormont-Vail Hospital.
Warren was born November 29, 1943 in Wichita, the son of Marvin Witt and Marie (Mauk) Deal-Witt. He attended Topeka West High School.
He was employed by Ed Marlings for 53 years, and also was known as the "Clock Man" for repairing Grandfather, Mantle and Wall clocks. He was an authorized repairman for the Howard Miller Clock Company.
He was a member of Traffic club. He enjoyed fishing, snake hunting, gardening and landscaping.
Warren married Shirley Chapin-Culton on November 11, 1998. She survives. Other survivors include his daughter, Debra Deal-Asher; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; step-children, Susan Ball and Michael Culton; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Wayne Deal, step-son, Richard Culton; and granddaughter, Melissa White.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Dove Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stormont Vail Health Center - Intensive Critical Care Unit, Helping Hands Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
