Warren Robert Connors, Jr., 67, Topeka, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital.
Warren was born May 18, 1947 in Eugene, OR, the son of Warren Robert and Francis Maxine (Starmer) Connors, Sr. He graduated from Madison High School in Long Beach, CA.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1966 to 70, serving 1 tour in Vietnam.
He attended South Knollwood Baptist Church
.
He was employed as a Crew Manager in the offices of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, retiring in 2007 after 37 years of service.
Warren married Judy Allen on May 15, 1993 in San Bernardino, CA. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Michael Connors, Anaheim Hills, CA; and sister, Linda Doran, Topeka. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
