Wayde M. Peet

Wayde M. Peet, 57, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away September 28, 2017. He was born June 12, 1960 at Riverton Wyoming. He journeyed all over the globe due to his step-father being in the United States Military but settled in Texas, which he proudly called home. He met his soulmate, Kelly Lynn Clark when he was 21 years of age and just like that, married on September 14, 1985, at San Antonio, Texas, they were an inseparable bond for the rest of their lives and for eternity.

Wayde and Kelly settled in Topeka and he took amazing steps to build a foundation of love and stability for his two daughters. He left his mark on every human being that came into contact with him. Day by day he changed more lives than he probably realized, while still bettering himself for his family. Wayde showed the world love, compassion and hard work with all that he accomplished. He will forever live on through the actions of his children, as well as the projects that he had previously set into motion. The physical presence of such a phenomenal soul may be gone from this planet, but he will never leave the hearts of those he touched.

Wayde was employed as the manager of Car Star Body Shop where he had worked for 10 years. He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church. His hobbies included spending time with his family and close friends, traveling, motorcycle riding, attending his church, attending every car related event that came his way, building and crafting, reading, and listening to and discovering new music.

Wayde is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Kelly; his oldest daughter, Katherine Crystal Peet and his younger daughter, Megan Elizabeth Peet; his mother, Sharon Pritchard; and two brothers, Ray and Scott Pritchard.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Fellowship Bible Church, 10th & Urish, on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017 from 6:00-7:30pm, with a blessing held at 7:00pm. A margarita toast will be held at the Peet home, 8619 SW 51st, following the Celebration. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
