Wayne E. Brandon, Sr.
August 2, 1943 — April 21, 2012
Wayne Earl Brandon Sr., 68, of Topeka, passed away April 21, 2012. He was born in Topeka on August 2, 1943 to Clifford Curtis and Juanita (Haggins) Brandon. He attended Highland Park High School. He served in the U.S. Army. Wayne worked as a concrete finisher and was a member of St. Luke's Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son Wayne Brandon, Jr.; his daughter, Barbra Brandon; 8 grandchildren, Krissy, Destini, Kelista, Anajalay, Adarius, Anaveon, Bryen, and A'Keyleona; his brother, James Brandon, and his sister, Maxine Kirtdoll.
He was preceded by his parents, his brother,Warren Eugene Brandon and one daughter, Algie Forbes.
A memorial service will be held May 5, 2012 at 10:00AM at St. Luke's Missionary Baptist Church.
