Wayne H. Corning

Wayne H. Corning, 79, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Manor Care. He was born on April 2, 1932 in Salem, Nebraska to Henry and Pearl (Harmon) Corning. Wayne was a U.S. Navy Veteran.

Wayne is survived by his children, Jim (Bonnie) Bennett; Connie (Stacy) Colgrove; Roberta (Hank) Tetuan and Larry Bennett all of Topeka; two nephews, Larry (Dinah) Dykes of Topeka and Ronnie Marsh of Paltsmouth, NE; one niece, Shiela (Jay) Speck of Platsmouth, NE; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by five daughters, Nadine, Candy, Cindy, Waynette and Lisa. He was preceded in death by his wife Rose.

Graveside inurnment will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Rochester Cemetery, 1200 NW Menninger Rd, Topeka.
