Wayne Kahler, 75, of Meriden, passed away July 7, 2017 at his home. He was born July 12, 1941 in Topeka, Kansas to George A. and Vera (Murray) Kahler. He graduated from Seaman High School.
He worked for Russ' Farm Market while in school. He worked for A&P as a meat cutter and retired from Falley's after 27 years of service. He was a cattle rancher and loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper.
He married Pat O'Hara on March 3, 1962 in Topeka, she survives. Also surviving are his sons, Kraig and Kris (Carol); 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Bob (Barb); and his sister, Linda (Rex) Springer. He was preceded in death by his parents; two granddaughters, Emily and Lauren; and his brothers, Richard and Larry.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 6:30-8:00PM at Rock Creek Bible Church Fellowship Hall, Meriden, KS. Private burial will be held at a later date.
