Wayne E. Miller, 61, Topeka, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016, surrounded by his family.
Wayne was born June 2, 1955 in Topeka, the son of Walter and Martha Miller. He attended Highland Park High School.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
He worked in construction for several companies, retiring in 2010.
Wayne valued his family and friends. His grandchildren meant the world to him. He also enjoyed riding his Harley.
Wayne was married to Tammy Fitzmaurice for many years. She survives. Other survivors include daughters, Tonya Allen, Tina Miller, Chrissy Fitzmaurice, all of Topeka; grandchildren, Charles Allen, Miami Catron, A'Darion Drew, Carmine Catron, Da'Veaha Drew, E'Zayvion Fitzmaurice, Ja'Nyis Yowell; brothers; sisters; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
