Wendell Lee Goodman, age 71, of Topeka, passed away, April 1, 2012.
He was born on November 8, 1940, in Wheaton, Kansas to Phillip and Gladys (Founds) Goodman.
He was an active member of Capitol Post #1 American Legion.
Wendell married Marilyn McGinnis in 1977. She precedes him in death.
Survivors include his children, Misty (Roger) Krull, and Shan Lee Kearney; two grandchildren, Ashley Krull and Taylor Kearney; two step grandchildren, Jessica and Dustin Gale; two brothers, Ken and Phil (Dorothy) Goodman; a sister, Sharon (Gerrold) McLaughlin.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Goodman.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 6, in West Lawn Memorial Gardens, Topeka. The Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is assisting the family in arrangements. To leave a message for the family online, please visit www.PenwellGabel.com.
