Wendell Harris, 71, of Topeka, passed away August 21, 2016. He was born on April 24, 1945 to Leo and Amelia Harris at Ida Grove, Iowa. He graduated from Atchison County Community High School and worked in construction as a Local Union 1445 carpenter for Senne Construction.
Wendell is survived by five sons and one daughter; one sister Shirley Calvert of Topeka; and two brothers: Leslie Harris of Westmoreland, KS and Kenneth Harris of South Fork, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.
A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at Larkinburg Cemetery.
