Wesley Dale "Wes" Manning, 67, of Topeka, passed away August 18, 2016. He was born January 18, 1949 in Ocala, Florida, the son of Lucian and Sallie (Martin) Manning. Wes was raised and attended school in Ocala. He joined the U.S. Army in 1967.
Wes enjoyed fishing and was a friend of Bill W.'s for many years. While he may not have had any immediate family, Wes is survived by the many friends he made while living in Topeka.
Wes was cremated. A memorial service will be held at Noon, Wednesday, August 24th at the Colmery O'Neil VA Medical Center Chapel at 21st & Gage Blvd. in Topeka. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
