William F. Eaton, Jr.

William F. Eaton, Jr., 66, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2009 at a Topeka hospital. He was born on February 7, 1943 in Topeka, the son of William F. and Elizabeth R. Eaton. He graduated from Highland Park High School. He was an Army veteran. He was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad for 38 years before retiring. William was a member of Grace United Methodist and the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth R. Eaton of Topeka. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Grace United Methodist Church. Private inurnment will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association, 837 S. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67211 or Grace United Methodist Church, 2627 S.W. Western St., Topeka, KS 66611 . Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
