William Henry Carper Jr.

William Henry Carper Jr., 55, Topeka, Kansas passed away February 28, 2011. He was born in Topeka, Kansas on August 9, 1955 to William Henry Carper Sr. and Janice Marie (Scott) Carper. He graduated from Topeka public schools and attended Langston University on a football scholarship. He was employed by Josten's for over 30 years, most recently serving in the capacity of team leader. He was a musician, avid dog lover and a loving father to his daughter AllysSun.

William is survived by his mother, Janice Carper; his daughter, AllysSun A. Carper; two sisters, Valada M. Carper and Annette M. Carper; one brother, Steven W. Carper; and his nieces and nephews, Heather Carper, Andre Carper, Michael Smith, Justin Smith, Ashley Smith, Allison Carper, Brayden Carper, and Marilee Carper. He was preceded in death by his father, William Henry Carper Sr.

The family will receive friends at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Ave. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be private followed by cremation.
