William James Henry

William James Henry, 71, of Topeka died Thursday, March 11, 2004 at a Topeka hospital. He was born November 14, 1932 in McLean, Texas the son of J.W. and Carrie Moore Henry. He spent most of his life in Topeka. Survivors include one daughter, Jacquelyn Sommers of Topeka, three sisters, Cecil Thompson of Topeka, Margaret L. Bowman of Topeka and Claro White of Topeka and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Hurlan Woods and one sister, Rose Mary Burnette. Cremation took place. Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Highland Chapel. Inurnment will take place in Topeka Cemetery. Online condolences may be given to the family at www.penwellgabel.com.
