William "Bill" Ronald Rae Carlson, 68, of Maple Hill, KS, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2010, with his family by his side at the Kansas City VA Hospital, after a long fight with lymphoma cancer, pneumonia, and several other health problems.
He was born October 17, 1942, in Topeka, KS, the only child of Danny and Erma Rae Warner-Carlson (Peach) both deceased. He is survived by his wife Debbie of Maple Hill, KS; his three children, Doris Jean Carlson, Rae Ann Hubbard, and Clinton Rae Carlson, all of Topeka, KS; one stepson, Matthew Chenoweth of Maple Hill, KS; five grandchildren and one great grandchild, all of Topeka, KS. Bill was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed deeply by his family and friends.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no public services. Bill will be cremated as wished, charitable donations may be made in his memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society online or at Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, PO Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
