William Rahberg, Sr.

William "Paul" Rahberg, 58, of Topeka, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016.
He was born August 2, 1957, in Manhattan, Kansas, the son of Phillip and Dorothy "Nell" (Grittman) Rahberg. He was a graduate of Topeka High School.
Paul proudly served his country in the United States Navy, where he traveled abroad on the USS Sierra, with many stories from his visits to Spain and Italy. Upon his discharge from the Navy, he spent some time traveling across the United States on his Norton. Later, Paul became a long haul trucker and worked for Keim TS out of Sabetha, Kansas, where he earned an award for achieving 1,000,000 safe miles driven. In order to spend more time with family he earned his CNA license and then later became a security guard for the Home Depot Distribution center in Topeka, Kansas.
William married Angelia M. Dugan on October 14, 1989, in Topeka, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include son, Phillip J. Rahberg; daughter, Michelle A. Tobler; son, William P. Rahberg, Jr.; daughter, Nichole Rahberg; and brother, David Rahberg. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family was the most important part of Paul's life and if you were a friend to Paul it was not long before you were part of the family.
A memorial ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66606. Memorial contributions may be made to Connor's Cure at http://www.jimmyv.org/connors-cure for pediatric cancer research.
