William Wheeler

William Clifford Wheeler, 75, Topeka, formerly of Lawrence, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003 at a Topeka hospital.

He was born Aug. 2, 1928 in Macon Co., Missouri, the son of William P. and Eva Belle Williams Wheeler. He moved with his family to Lawrence in 1942, graduated from Lawrence High School, and served in the US Marine Corps.

He married Donna Rose Collins on Nov. 11, 1950. They were divorced.

He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Richard Charles Wheeler and William "Bill" Wheeler, and a daughter, Peggy Sue Wheeler, and an infant.
