Willie Lovelace

Willie ("Bill") A. Lovelace, 67, of Topeka, went peacefully to be with the Lord on December 15, 2012. He was born January 30, 1945 to Murdock and Margaret (Burns) Lovelace in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He spent his school years in Guthrie and graduated from Faver High School in 1962.

Shortly after high school, seeking new adventures, he moved to Topeka to work and attend Washburn University. The bulk of his adult life, he was employed by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. He was actively involved with the Harvest Church – West Branch of Topeka and was fond of helping anyone in need.

Bill married Marilyn E. Cartmill in 1970. She preceded him in death on September 27, 2012. He was also preceded in death by his brother and a sister.

Survivors include a daughter, Jacinda Lovelace, Berryton, Kansas; a sister, Gloria (Ronald) Gordon, Ponca City, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews. A private celebration of life memorial is planned. Cremation has taken place and casting of ashes will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial contributions be sent to a charity/organization(s) of the donor's choice.
