Wilma Irene Blankenship

Wilma Irene Blankenship, 84, Topeka, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2008 at Midland Hospice House. She was born May 12, 1923 in Neosho, MO, the daughter of Lyman Edward and Mary Elizabeth Norris Blankenship, and had lived in Topeka since February, 1969. Wilma worked as a housekeeping aide at Stormont-Vail Hospital before retiring. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Newcomer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Hospice House, 200 S.W. Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
