Yvonne May Cantrell, 70, Topeka, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005 at Midland Hospice House.
She was born April 5, 1935 in Centerville, KS, the daughter of Thomas and Gertrude McQuinn Howell. She worked for over 30 years for the State of Kansas mainly for the Departments of the Real Estate Commission and the Board of Technical Professionals.
She married James Cantrell on Sept. 17, 1960 in Centerville. He survives. Other survivors include her son, Daron Cantrell and her twin sister, LaVaughn Wilcox, both of Topeka. She also has several nieces and nephews. She loved all of them equally well.
Mrs. Cantrell will lie in state from 2-4 pm Thursday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home. Private graveside services will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
