Gerald D. “Jerry” Kendall, 87, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023.

Jerry was born March 20, 1936, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Orville Russell and Doris (Reichman) Kendall. He was a graduate of Topeka High School.

Jerry was an amazing draftsman before the use of computers. He began learning about draftsmanship in high school and was able to further his learning during his service in the United States Air Force in the Korean War.

Jerry was employed by various companies, most recently for Xerox until retiring.

Survivors include his daughter, Stacy; two granddaughters, Natalie and Katelyn; his nephew, Andrew; and his niece, Rebekah.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Ann R. in 1971; and his sister, Sylvia.

Jerry was a champion Bridge Player and an avid reader. He was also fluent in the German language.

Honoring his wishes, cremation is planned. Private services will be at a later date.
