Dale “Hoss” Albert Wulfkuhle, 84, of Topeka, passed away July 24, 2023, at home, surrounded by loving family.

Born September 25, 1938, at home in Douglas County, to Albert and Edith (Koehler) Wulfkuhle, he graduated from Berryton High School in 1956.

Dale worked as a superintendent for KBS, serving as a union carpenter for 45+ years, working on projects throughout Topeka, and family projects.

He attended Stull United Methodist Church, Lecompton, KS.

Dale married Glenola Knight in December, 1957 and would later divorce. Dale married Linda Pufahl on March 12, 1999 in Topeka, KS. She survives. Other survivors include daughters, Gayle (Jeff) Jay, Renae Grame (Craig) Hansen, sons, Lloyd E (Pam) Wulfkuhle, T.D. (Sharlene) Wulfkuhle, Clint Grame, grandchildren, William Laster, Roy Laster III, Ethan Wulfkuhle, Heather Beasley, Jordan Larkin, Bryce Larkin, Kylie Harper, Melissa Whitmire, Mandy Whitmire, Cody Whitmire, Kelsey Johnson, Leshia Hansen, Drew Hansen, Ciara Harper, Bryce Grame, Aubry Grame, 21 great grandchildren, and soon to be great-great granddaughter. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, and first wife Glenola.

Dale enjoyed golfing, gardening, cooking, fishing, great bargains, and followed all sports. He loved spending time with family and friends. He volunteered for I Care Topeka.

Honoring his wishes, cremation is planned. The family will have a private inurnment. A Celebration of Life will be held at Dove Cremations and Funerals Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road, Topeka, KS 66610 on Saturday August 5, 2023 beginning at 11:00 a.m., family will receive friends an hour prior.
