Patricia Ann Bugg, 82, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born January 1, 1941, in Kansas City, Missouri. She received a bachelor's degree in Nursing from Washburn University and a master's degree in Advanced Nursing from Fort Hays State University.
Patricia was employed by Stormont-Vail for 40 years, retiring in 2019.
Patricia married Larry Bugg on December 11, 1974 in Topeka, Kansas. He survives, along with her children; John Hardman, Mary Sites, Janelle Bugg, LaShon Bugg, James Bugg, and Walter Bugg; eighteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings Robert Gleaves, Woodrow Kruz, Alan M. Stecklein, Donald Kruz, and Kenneth Kruz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Celeste Stecklein; and her sister, Sharon Stewart.
Patricia loved spending time with her family including her dogs, and her job, always caring for others. She enjoyed caring for her plants, cooking and dancing (sometimes at the same time). She would even get the grandkids involved.
She was a private person and requested no formal service be held. A private celebration of Patricia’s life will take place at a later date.
