Rebecca Jean “Becky” Cordar, 57, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023.

She was born December 13, 1965, in Glendale, California, the daughter of Coy Daniel and Marilyn Murray (Pittendrigh) Cordar.

Rebecca was employed by Gainwell Technologies in Topeka.

Survivors include her life partner, Troy Davis of Topeka; four sisters, Wendy Cordar of Carbondale, KS, Kim Cordar and Shawna Allen both of California and Melanie Cordar of Allentown, PA; and three cats, Bit, Mayhem and Wednesday.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her cats, Penny, Shadow, Dickens and Pepsi.

Rebecca was always there for her family and friends. She also loved her horses and cats. She enjoyed reading, discovering new restaurants, music, singing and being friendly to everyone.

Honoring her request, cremation is planned. A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at the Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to Shooting Star Equine Rescue Inc., 10527 SW Indian Hills Rd, Wakarusa, KS 66546 or B&C Equine Rescue, Inc., 740 W 125th, Carbondale, KS, 66414.
