Lynnette Lee Cervantez, 61, of Topeka, passed away peacefully Friday, October 6, 2023.
She was born April 5, 1962, in Garnett, Kansas, the daughter of William and Sylva (Spangler) Apperson. She graduated from Topeka High School, class of 1980.
Survivors include children, Bobbie Meek, Christopher Shoemate, and Joshua Singleton of Topeka, grandchildren, Amarra, Dominic, William, Christian, and Daniel, sister, Mary (Steve) Seeger of Delta Junction, Alaska, nephew, Aaron (Brooke) Seeger of Delta Junction, Alaska, nieces, Courtney (Andrew) Janos of Klamath Falls, Oregon, and Hillary Seeger of Klamath Falls, Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert.
Lynne loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed music, reading, and short adventures. She was an avid Nascar, Broncos football, and Royals baseball fan. She had an impeccable work ethic, and loved working with people.
Honoring her wishes, cremation is planned. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 5:30pm - 7:00pm, Tuesday October 17, 2023 at Dove Cremations and Funerals Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road, Topeka.
