In Memory Of
Taralane "Lane" Butler
1968 - 2023

Taralane “Lane” Butler, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly in Paxico, Kansas on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the age of 54.

Born in Albert Lea, Minnesota she was a long-time resident of Spring Valley, California, and Fayetteville, North Carolina before moving to Savannah, Georgia in 2020. She was employed as a lease operator for PRIME Inc., but her true passion was to own her own food truck, “Lil Bit a Lane”.

Lane was full of life, a true force of nature. Her laugh reverberated throughout the room, her smile was infectious and her sense of humor made you laugh, regardless of your mood. Never one to meet a stranger or too shy to speak her mind, you always knew where you stood with her. Her personality was genuine and she was steadfast in her beliefs. She raised her kids to strive for the best and was an avid believer in giving your all, no matter the size of your opponent. A woman who firmly believed in a greater purpose and the power of positivity, her memory will forever live on in the numerous lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Frederick E. and Sandra (Sandy) K. Heilman. She is survived by her children: Brittany (Reggie) Crawford, Breonna (Edwardo) Tartt, and Daine (Taylina) Butler; Step Daughter: Adrienne Driggins; Grandchildren: Alaya, Noah, and Leo Tartt; Aden Crawford; and Karter, Kassidy and Kaine Butler; Siblings: Ann Heilman, Jennifer (Ronnie) Brown, and Brody (Janay) Heilman; as well as beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life is being planned and that information will be updated via Lane’s memorial site listed below.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be sent directly via Lane’s memorial site: https://everloved.com/life-of/taralane-butler/. All donations will go straight to Lane’s three children, as they navigate this new chapter in life, and tackle the unexpected expenses that follow her sudden passing.
