Donald Ray Anderson, 84, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023.

He was born October 21, 1939, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Glenn and Elsie (Venters) Anderson.

Donald worked as a truck driver for North America and United Van Lines. He later owned the bar Twilight, in north Topeka, operating for 5 years.

Survivors include sister-in-law, Darlene Anderson, nephew, Darren (Carletta) Anderson, nieces, Dala (Joel) Jones, Deanna (Paul) Cessarich and Deborah (Francis) Bogowith, great nieces, Amber Cessarich and Ashlynn Anderson, great nephews, Andrew (Caitlin) Cessarich, Jordan Jones, Merrick Bogowith and Noah Bogowith, and great great nieces, Adaleigh Jones and Watsyn Cessarich.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Fred Anderson.

Donald enjoyed fishing, golfing, and going to the Hollywood Casino.

Honoring his wishes, cremation is planned. Interment of the cremated remains will be at Memorial Park at a later date.
