Francis Leo Bramlage, 88, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023.

He was born April 11, 1935, in Hanover, Kansas, the son of Henry and Mary (Goeckel) Bramlage. He served in the Army National Guard.

Francis was self-employed as a carpenter and a farmer.

Francis was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church of Topeka.

Francis married Donna Harry on April 26, 1958 in Frankfort, KS. She survives, along with his children Randy Bramlage (Cindi) of Wakarusa, Debbie Bramlage of Auburn, KS, Greg Bramlage (Connie) of Topeka and Jeff Bramlage of Topeka; grandchildren Chelsey (Randal) Schiffelbein of Berryton, KS and Michael McDonnell of Colorado and Shaun McDonnell of Missouri; great-grandchildren Nova and Hudson Schiffelbein; and his brother Norbert Bramlage. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers Bill, Ben and Gilbert; and two sisters Irene and MaryAnn.

Francis enjoyed raising cattle and playing with his great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Auburn Wind Tunnel.

Francis was cremated. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, December 9th at 10:30 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5973 SW 25th Street in Topeka. The family will receive friends for an hour before the service at the church. Interment will follow at Auburn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ The King Catholic Church 5973 SW 25th Street, Topeka, KS 66614 or the Auburn Community Center and Library, 121 W 11th Street, Auburn, KS 66402.
