Henry Louis Profitt, Sr.
1941 - 2023
Henry Louis Profitt, Sr., 82, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
He was born June 11, 1941, in Morristown, Tennessee. He graduated from West High School in 1960. He served in the Air Force.
Henry was employed by the Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railroad as an operator for over 30 years.
Henry married Barbara J. Profitt in Topeka in 1990. She preceded him in death on October 21, 2008. Survivors include a son, Henry Profitt, Jr. (Lakeisha) of Topeka; granddaughter Kezia; and a host of close friends he called family. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. He was accompanied in death by his companion Carol Beaver.
Henry enjoyed watching sports and hanging out with friends at the bowling alley. He was an avid Tennessee Volunteers fan.
