David Allen Leinweber, 51, of Topeka passed away Saturday January 6, 2024. He was born September 1, 1972 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Anna (Hargadine) Crowley. Dave graduated from Valley Heights High School in Blue Rapids, Kansas.

Dave worked as a Virtual Design Specialist for Torgeson Electric Company in Topeka. Dave always went above and beyond in his work and anything else he set his mind to. He had much pride in the many projects he worked on and enjoyed watching them come to life. Dave loved spending time with his grandchildren, working on his model trains, and building carpentry projects for his family. Dave never failed to make friends and seldom knew a stranger wherever he went. Dave often provided sage advice to anyone who needed it and was supportive to his loved ones.

He was a loving husband to his wife, Kimberly (Dean) Leinweber, as well as an amazing father to his four children Jeff Leinweber, Emily Leinweber, Madison Works, and Morgan Mellies. Additionally, Dave was survived by his three grandchildren Guerin, Annalise, and Amelia, his mother Anna Crowley, his siblings Amy Merrill, Dan Leinweber, Andy Eastwood.

Dave will be buried at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Dove Cremations and Funerals -Southwest Chapel at 37th and Wanamaker in Topeka.
