Eldridge O. Schaller
1939 - 2024
Eldridge O. Schaller, 84, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. He was born August 29, 1939 in Philadelphia, Missouri, the son of Edward and Jessie (Sewell) Schaller.
Eldridge graduated from high school in Philidelphia. He was an Army Veteran where he served in Germany. He had resided in Topeka since 1968. Eldridge was employed as a machinist, mechanic and welder. He enjoyed participating in tractor pulls.
Eldridge married Natalie Reed. They later divorced.
Survivors include children, Rhonda Schaller of Topeka, Renee Reaser of Topeka, two grandchildren, Codi and Stuart, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and his brother, Sidney Schaller of Hannibal, Missouri.
Eldridge was preceded in death by one son, Randy Schaller on September 13, 1986, two brothers, Clem Schaller and Verle Schaller and his companion, Naomi Tucker.
Cremation has taken place and private inurnment will take place in Burlingame Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave.
