Joshua Roman Bell-Martinez,43, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024. He was born January 31, 1981 in Silver City, New Mexico, the son of Kenneth E. and Lilia (Martinez) Bell.

Josh was a graduate of Shawnee Heights High School.

Josh married Meghan Olson on August 24, 2002 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include children, Cameron, Raven, Cruz and Zia, his mother, Lilia Bell of Topeka,his siblings, Patricia Sanchez of Topeka, Theresa Chavez of Belen, New Mexico, Susan Dominguez of Belen New Mexico, Joe Bell of Topeka, Kendra Bell of Topeka.

He was lovingly known as Uncle Bob by 16 of his nieces and nephews.

Josh was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth, his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Nadine (Vandevander) Bell and his maternal grandparents, Roman and Marcelina (Morales) Martinez.

Josh loved spending time with his wife and kids. He and his wife Meghan shared a love for gardening, always bringing fresh lilies to his mother Lilly. He was also a talented Airbrush artist. His family loved receiving gifts he created for them.

Josh also had a passion for old school cars and Lowriders. He was a member of the Firme Times Car Club and loved cruising and attending car shows with his daughter Raven. He was a very strong-willed person and had a fire in his eye for the things he believed in and would always stick up for what he thought was right.

Cremation has taken place. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. The family will receive friends from 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. A Celebration of Josh’s Life will be held from 5:30 P.M. to 10:30 P.M. on Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Crestview Shelter House, 4901 SW Shunga Dr., Topeka, Kansas 66614.
