Robert Fowler Martin, 76, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

He was born March 3, 1948, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Edgar and Mary Louise (Fowler) Martin. He graduated from Highland Park High School. He served in the United States Army.

Bob was employed by the city of Topeka Fire Department for 30 years, until retiring.

Bob married Susan Elaine Holt on May 6, 1989 in Topeka, KS. She preceded him in death in October 2020.

Survivors include children, Clarissa and Mike Martin, numerous grandchildren, brother, Ed (Jean) Martin, sister-in-law, Cynthia (KaLynn) Holt, brother-in-law, Mike Holt, and many nieces and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 31 years, Susan Martin, and brother-in-law, Bruce Holt.
Bob was a lover of Rock and Roll, especially Queen. He attended many concerts, was an avid K-State and Chiefs fan, and enjoyed watching many sports.

Bob’s wishes were for cremation.
