Pearl Maxine Hinton, 71, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
She was born May 5, 1953, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of John and Luella (McMahon) Degan. She attended Topeka High School.
Pearl loved nothing more than her family. In her spare time, she loved to crochet and made sure all new additions to the family would have a baby blanket with matching hat and booties. She also enjoyed listening to country music.
Pearl married John L. Hinton on May 3, 1980 in Topeka, KS.
She leaves behind her daughter, Kimberly Hinton and her siblings, John Degan, Carolyn Dodds, Walter Degan and Lillian Degan. She was preceded in death by her Husband, John L. Hinton; her parents and siblings, Wilma Lake, Frank Degan, Marie Alcala and James Fisk.
Honoring her wishes, cremation is planned. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 12:00pm-3:00pm at the Garfield Community Center. In her honor, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church 227 SW Van Buren Street, Topeka, KS 66603.
