Charlet Schaible Pratt, 72, of Topeka, passed away on June 22, 2024.

She was born February 20, 1952, in Hiawatha, Kansas. The daughter of Charles and Carol (Miller) Schaible. She received a bachelors degree in dental hygiene from UMKC School of Dentistry and was employed for 38 years.


Survivors include husband James Gary Pratt; children, Austin (Ashley) White of Moore, OK, and Sarah (Gatis) Spunde of Corona Del Mar, CA; grandkids, Owen Charles & Aidan Mathias White, and Kalani Kai & Alana Kai Spunde, sister-in-law, Jane Schaible; nephew Chris (Laura) Schaible; cousin James Schaible and Marcia (Gary) Bauerle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Charles Alan Schaible.

Charlet enjoyed exercising, specifically running and doing pool workouts. She loved watching Jayhawk football/basketball and the Kansas City Chiefs. She enjoyed traveling to see her children and grandchildren and always a had special connection to the Hawaiian Islands. She loved to shop and always stayed current with fashion trends. She also had many beloved pets through the years, her most recent, Kalaki the corgi.

She was a member of the Topeka Jayhawk Club, Kansas Dental Hygiene Association, and the YMCA of Topeka.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Thursday June 27, 2024 at Dove Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66610, funeral services will be at 11:00am at Delaware Baptist Church, 410 W 1st St, Fairview, KS 66425 with interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, 606 E Iowa St, Hiawatha, KS 66434
